This year's USATF certified 5K Run/Walk will weave through beautiful
Riverside Park heading north on Monroe and coming back south along the
Grand River. Runners and walkers will enjoy on course entertainment, water
station, and other surprises along the course. 2009 brings our first annual
Stroller Division for all of you parents pushing your children. Seperate
prizes will be give out for the stroller division so please designate your
interest.
Also new this year is our Kids Run. Children ages 2-8 are welcome to run
our 100-meter dash and will receive a race medal and certificate for
participating. There is no charge for the kids run so if your child wants to
participate please email us to confirm participation. Kids Race Email

10:00am - Run/Walk Begins

From KC and the Sunshine Band to AC/DC, Bottoms Up performs your
favorite party songs exactly as you remember them with the excitement and
flare that only a live band can generate. This is not a disc jockey playing
recordings of your favorite songs, but real players bringing great songs to life
with an energetic presentation. There’s nothing better when you need good
music.

underground musicians grrRoPoLis produces inventive, cutting edge rock
and roll. They started as an indie reggae cover band and morphed into an
experimental garage blues band. The band has played throughout the
country. In 2008 the members toured nationally with The Breeders. The
Grand Rapids Press described them as “Reinventing rock and roll, the
unpredictable nature of grrRoPoLis' indie-rock is at once endearing and
jarring, in a good way.”

been described as hypnotic “schizophrenic acoustic pop rock with faux metal
moments,” very pleasant, indie pop-ish, quirky, catchy, sad, beautiful,
awesome, suicide inducing, that damn song, and absolute garbage. its also
good on sandwiches. All music is written, performed, and produced by four for
smoking."
